Dearborn resident Lawrence E. Baron died Aug. 16 at the age of 68. A native of Detroit, he is survived by his son, Tim Baron; sisters, Arlene Lyons and Jeri (Chuck) Baron Feltner; two nephews, Robert Lyons and Gary Lyons; his great-niece, Jessica Hope Zick; his great-nephew, Zachary Lyons; and his dear friend, Val Damian. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends. 

Visitation is set for Friday, Aug. 19, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., with a scripture service at 7 p.m. at the Dearborn Chapel of the Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 22546 Michigan Ave. There will be a prayer service at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, at the funeral home, followed by a funeral liturgy at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dearborn.  Interment will follow at St. Hedwig Cemetery in Dearborn Heights.
