Michigan, April 14, 2012 - 20 Members of the Michigan Scrapbooker Business Group on Facebook have joined together to plan and host this event, offering discounts and prizes for Scrapbookers and Stampers who visit participating businesses, either online or in person. All locations will provide an image to add to your Virtual Shop Hop Passport when you make a purchase.
“We are very excited to offer this ‘1st Michigan Virtual Shop Hop’ to our readers, followers, clients, and facebook friends,” said Sue Nebe, Independent Creative Memories Consultant, and owner of the Scrap Inn Shack.
Lisa Rudnick, owner of Blue Martini Designs, stated, “it’s a great way for scrapbookers and cardmakers to visit businesses throughout Michigan (virtually-through the Internet).”
The Virtual Shop Hop Passport will be available online and in stores April 14, 2012. A list of participating businesses is available at www.michiganscrapbooker.com , and on all facebook pages of participating businesses.
Many of our businesses will be offering customer discounts for the “Virtual Shop Hop”! Anyone who wants to participate in the “HOP” can obtain a Shop Hop Passport at www.facebook.com/MIScrapbooker , along with links to all participating businesses, or on the Business Facebook pages, or in the participating stores.
With their Passport, customers may visit participating stores during the event and receive special discounts and/or products, and images for their Passport with each purchase. (1 image for a virtual purchase, 2 images for in store purchases)
Prizes will include items from each participating business. To become eligible for prizes, customers must visit at least 6 of the 20 participating businesses either in person or via the internet and have their Passport stamped, or with in-store purchases collect two images to add to their passport. Passports must be mailed in to be eligible for the prize drawings by May 15, 2012. Prize drawings will be on May 16, 2012 and winners of all fantastic prizes will be notified. All prizes will be mailed out to the recipients.
